Up for sale here is this set of two (2) IRC 39 ohm 1-watt carbon comp resistors, from the 1940s or 1950s. These are new old stock--brand new, never used. I tested a few of these and they tested around 10% over the marked 39 ohm rating, right around 42-43 ohms. I have heard that you can toast these in a toaster oven and that will make them test much closer to the original marked rating. Please see my pictures for details.
